As a prospective international student you are on the doorstep of a great adventure, studying and living in the Netherlands. Although this is an amazing experience, it can be quite difficult finding your way through the rules and regulations, from applying for a study programme until your journey to the Netherlands. The ISO will assist you from start to finish.
There are a number of practical matters you may need to think about when preparing for your departure to the Netherlands. Questions you should ask yourself are for example: Do I need a visa to travel to the Netherlands? And how can I get one? Do I need to apply for a residence permit? And how and when should I do this? What kind of insurance do I need? How will I get accommodation? How much money will I need to live off?
Our ISO will be able to answer most of these questions for you. We are your contact person with regard to your application, but we can also advise and assist you with other issues, necessary for your stay in Groningen.
