Listen each Monday night from 18:00 till 19:00 to intenational student radio show Happy Hour FM at OOG-radio. The show was started by students of the School of Communication & Media!
Why international radio? International students in Groningen lack local news in English and many practical information is hard to find or simply not available in English (where to buy a bike, how to get a Dutch sim-card, bank account etc). Also cultural events are hardly listed in English. Just add to the list.
The radio program and the supporting website should serve as a one-stop-shop for whoever will come from abroad to Groningen for a longer period. It is also a information channel for those being here already or having been here & wanting to stay in touch.
