I got very enthusiastic about the study programme after talking to an International
Communication student. I immediately decided to ‘go international’ and to start thinking out of the box with regards to communication. I could already imagine seeing my friends’ faces as I would tell them: ‘Oh, I just got back from China and Australia for my studies and internship’

There’s so much more to explore beyond our borders! Holland is a small but internationally orientated country. The expectations I had prior to studying here definitely came out: I got to work and travel all over the world.

I enjoy studying international communication since learning about different cultures is not just limited to the textbook. Operating with students from various cultural backgrounds in class and in my direct environment gives me the chance to make the learning process more alive, leading to a better understanding. Furthermore, I like the variety of the program. Every period we deal with new subjects and projects. At the moment I’m studying at our partner university in Sydney, where I have the chance to take courses that are not offered at home such as the TV- and Photo-Journalism. It never gets boring!
