Welcome to the School of Social Studies. We do not offer any international programmes, but offer the following Dutch taught study programmes:
Each of these programmes will enable students to find careers in a broad field of care, welfare and in the public sector.
Master's Degree
The School of Social Studies is currently developing a number of Master’s Degree programmes: The Master of Social Work, the International Master of Social Work and the Master of Rehabilitation Counselling. These programmers are expected to be on offer in 2011.
From educational to knowledge
The School of Social Studies has progressed from an educational institute to a knowledge institute. This means that knowledge focused strongly on direct application in the professional field of care and welfare and in the public sector as a whole is generated and passed on. Carrying out applied research and translating the results to the professional field and education is one of the core activities of the School of Social Studies. These activities also improve the learning environment of students and concrete problems that occur in professional practice are solved.
